got better gas milage because al the gas in the cylinders actually burnt with no left-over. Also as a consiquense of the same thing i got a lil extra horsepower, i dont know how much cos i have never dyno'd my car. Also i am able to set retard, degree ad a whole bunch of things with the dis boxes. also the tach i have "5" autometer with shift light, connects right onto the side of the dis box so theres no mess. Also having the tach side mounted on the A pillar means i can run the ground, positive and accessory wires thru my side air vent to where i need it to be. As well as 2 DIS 4 boxes, cos there are 6 coils on a Z you need to have 3 MSD tach adapters, these act as the ECU signal i believe. i have one for each 2 coils and 1 DIS box for every 3 coils. It gets messy under the hood for a while. Also a good feature of the DIS is it allows each box to have its own ignition kill switch, who needs an imobilizer?
